Job Title: PROJECT MANAGER

Salary: $85,000. to $125,000. + Per Year

Summary:

SUMMARY:

Develops solutions for refrigeration or mechanical utility applications and processes.
Works closely with customers, business developers, and design project managers to ensure projects are competitively bid and meet the needs of the client.
Provides support to APM's, Field Engineers, and Superintendents throughout the installation and commissioning phases of the project as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Proposal Development:
Assists Project Developer in the creation of competitive and negotiated bids; interfaces with in-house and external resources including Engineering, Finance, and Legal; communicates with Client as required.

Budget Control:
Reviews proposals, executes change orders, and processes other documentation in line with company policy; Analyzes costs on routine basis, and develops monthly cost projections based on current information; Invoices client on timely basis.

Client Interface:
Maintains close client contact; Responds to requests in a timely manner; Maintains and distributes monthly progress reports; Maintains thorough knowledge of company contracts with the client and each subcontractor/supplier.

Project Administration:
Utilizes company software to ensure all necessary documents are in place and processed; Develops and implements project schedules; Assures all materials and project items are on site as required by schedule; Secures all necessary permits; Schedules meetings as necessary with subcontractors, owners, design teams, and permitting agencies; Supervises close out of project.

Subcontractor Relationships:
Plans work, reviews submittals, manages pay applications and lien releases; Maintains thorough knowledge of company contracts with each subcontractor and supplier; Verifies proper insurance coverage.

Travel:
Frequent travel (up to 50%) to customer and worksite locations.


Other:
Provides support to APM's, Field Engineers and Superintendents as necessary; miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience

Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline (Mechanical, Building Construction, etc.)
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a refrigeration and/or mechanical utility project environment.
Extensive experience with Ammonia Refrigeration a MUST!

Technical

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for purchasing all ingredients and commodities including outsourced or subcontracted services and/or sub-assemblies
• Responsible for maintaining an awareness of commodity price and availability risk, alerting management and developing sourcing strategies to reduce-moderate such risk
• Responsible for creating RFQ’s for ingredients and commodities; negotiate purchasing contracts with vendors to obtain best prices, quality and service

• Work with QA team to ensure suppliers provide all required documentation to meet SQF and FSMA guidelines.
• Release and create Purchase Orders as needed. Forward to designated personnel—both internal and external. Is responsible for the accuracy of the cost on the PO’s before they are received into Company ERP system
• Process PO’s from various departments as needed.
• Uses ERP system reporting and best practices for accurate inventory planning and stocking levels
• Cross train as needed to back up other procurement personnel

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or other related discipline and/or 5 equivalent years of experience.
Experience :
• Successful, multi-year (3+ years) Procurement/Supply Chain or related field track record within Food Manufacturing Industry
• A minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience with an impressive track record of accomplishments and continuous improvements in purchasing, preferably in commodity food ingredients, dairy, fresh and frozen fruits.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially a firm understanding of Excel.

Job Summary

Our very well established and growing Food Processing client is PARTNERING with us in search of an experienced Quality Control Technician for this IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY. This will start out on a Temporary Basis with a strong possibility of converting to the Company's Payroll!!

Hours:
Monday-Friday with mandatory Saturdays as needed
During Training will work Day Shift - 6:00am-6:30pm
Most likely will be 12 Hour Day Shift after training, however Must be able to work Night Shift if necessary - 6:30pm-6:00am!
INCLUDES OVERTIME PAY!


Job Scope:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for implementing and adhering to the Quality Control program at the manufacturing site. This includes conducting Quality Control checks during production, verifying adherence to the mycotoxin testing protocol, conducting mycotoxin testing, verifying sanitation activities, and other responsibilities as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• As directed and trained, conduct various tests for incoming ingredients, including sieve, NIR, moisture, and mycotoxin testing.
• Routinely check operator paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
• Routinely check label, bags and seals.
• Perform and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Working overtime is MANDATORY and requires full participation.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in accordance to company policy.
• Perform all functions in accordance with sound safety practices and procedures.
• Report all safety violations and safety hazards to Shift Supervisor/Safety Manager immediately
• Participate in all safety programs

Qualifications:
• Must be computer literate
• Must have ability to accept temporary assignment changes to assist other areas of the plant, maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds of product routinely, and climbing a ladder to maintenance equipment from a catwalk.
• Must maintain assigned portion of master sanitation schedule.
• Must work in a safe, professional manner at all times.
• Must report any accidents, property damage, or near misses to a supervisor immediately.
• Must have the ability to be trained and certified to operate forklifts.

Other Qualifications:
• HACCP, GFSI, or SQF certification is a plus.
• Must have excellent communication skills to communicate with other employees and supervisors.
• Flexibility to be available to help cover for other Quality Control employees when called upon.
• Ability to read bin level and work schedule.

Must have experience working in Quality Control in a food manufacturing plant as described above.

Our Food Processing client with an excellent reputation in their industry is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experience QA Tech for this IMMEDIATE LONG TERM TEMP ASSIGNMENT through Season starting ASAP through possibly the end of November.

Work Hours:
7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
