Position Summary
The Field Operations Manager is responsible for the direction of state-wide agriculture production including but not limited to grower relations, contracts, raw material establishment and crop performance, harvest operations, trucking, field staff, field safety program, a fleet of farm machinery, and specialized harvest equipment. This position works closely with our client's Turlock facility to coordinate the logistics, timing, and quality of raw materials for processing.

Provides leadership to field operations staff, while driving a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management. Works effectively with cross functional areas, including Supply Chain, Plant Operations, and Sales as a key Leader within the management team.

Core Job Responsibilities:
·         Develop & maintain crop/field plan and multi-year projections. Execute crop planning, forecasting, and production scheduling, including interface with plant to coordinate deliveries.
·         Monitor & enhance crops over all growing areas, making strategic recommendations to growers, varieties to plant, and grower payments in line with business strategy & goals.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic participates as a team member in a high volume, light manufacturing environment. JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
Performs routine maintenance and inspection of the production process equipment, the utility support systems and the production rooms. This may include, but will not be limited to, water treatment systems and analysis, boilers and operation, refrigeration systems and components, proper welding practices (Sanitary A-3 standards), the ability to read and troubleshoot ladder logic on PLC control systems and related components, proper electrical practices (codes), and pumps. Trouble shooting equipment problems and make necessary repairs as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Completes work orders covering scheduled maintenance of the process equipment. Completes unscheduled repairs of all areas as needed. Provides support to operators and companion maintenance mechanics. Always seeking continuous self and the improvement of equipment and the work environment.
Performs non-routine maintenance activities, including but not limited to basic preventative maintenance on all process equipment. Completes daily log sheets, inventory usage data entry to computer system.
Installs electrical for new equipment, submits detailed information required for the purpose of ordering parts and all support materials. Sets up clearances on fillers.
Performs calibration of process equipment instrumentation (level transmitters, pressure transmitters, RTD’s, flow meters, etc), and duties as needed or assigned by the maintenance supervisor. Acts as member of Emergency Response Team.

Job Scope:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for implementing and adhering to the Quality Control program at the manufacturing site. This includes conducting Quality Control checks during production, verifying adherence to the mycotoxin testing protocol, conducting mycotoxin testing, verifying sanitation activities, and other responsibilities as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• As directed and trained, conduct various tests for incoming ingredients, including sieve, NIR, moisture, and mycotoxin testing.
• Routinely check operator paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
• Routinely check label, bags and seals.
• Perform and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Working overtime is MANDATORY and requires full participation.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in accordance to company policy.
• Perform all functions in accordance with sound safety practices and procedures.
• Report all safety violations and safety hazards to Shift Supervisor/Safety Manager immediately
• Participate in all safety programs

Qualifications:
• Must be computer literate
• Must have ability to accept temporary assignment changes to assist other areas of the plant, maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds of product routinely, and climbing a ladder to maintenance equipment from a catwalk.
• Must maintain assigned portion of master sanitation schedule.
• Must work in a safe, professional manner at all times.
• Must report any accidents, property damage, or near misses to a supervisor immediately.
• Must have the ability to be trained and certified to operate forklifts.

Other Qualifications:
• HACCP, GFSI, or SQF certification is a plus.
• Must have excellent communication skills to communicate with other employees and supervisors.
• Flexibility to be available to help cover for other Quality Control employees when called upon.
• Ability to read bin level and work schedule.

Must have experience working in Quality Control in a food manufacturing plant as described above.
