BUDGET / FINANCIAL ANALYST

Job Summary
Our growing Food Processing client is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Budget/Financial Analyst for this EXCELLENT DIRECT HIRE CAREER OPPORTUNITY.
This position will organize, manage and produce the company’s Annual Business Plan (ABP). Provide ongoing analysis comparing actual results to the ABP. Develop and provide both financial and operational assessment of circumstances and opportunities keeping in mind both the short-term and long-term plans of the company.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:
• Develop and use a comprehensive plan to completing the ABP within the designated timeframe.
• Coordinate with department heads, accountants and others to ensure accuracy and timeliness of the ABP along with the subsequent comparisons to actual.
• Initiate recommendations and actions to ensure department heads and others meet the ABP.
• Work with accountants and others to accumulate data and other information for ABP preparation along with the data necessary to ensure the ABP is met.
• Help identify and develop systems to be used in ABP preparation along with the systems necessary to accumulate actuals.
• Consistently monitor and analyze key financial measurements.
• Assist with special projects and provide analytical financial support for capital expenditures, mergers and acquisitions, new lines of business and efficiency projects.
• Develop models and presentations as appropriate to complete the assigned duties.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position will work directly with every level of the company, but will not have any direct reports.

Requirements:
• Success in this position requires a self-motivated, enthusiastic team player, who excels in a fast-paced environment.
• A leader with seven to ten years of accounting and finance experience, ideally beginning in accounting and audit, followed by experience gathering, evaluating, presenting and reporting financial information to executive teams and external stakeholders.
• Minimum of a BA degree in Finance or Accounting preferred - MAY consider equivalent experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, board or other outside partners.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office suite to include Excel, Access, QuickBooks and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy, fast-paced office environment with frequent interruptions.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive materials.
• Experience communicating policies and procedures.

Job Summary

Our well established and growing Food Processing client with an excellent reputation in their industry is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Sales Analyst for this EXCELLENT DIRECT HIRE CAREER OPPORTUNITY!!

  • The Sales Analyst / Support Position supports the organization by providing regular detailed analysis of forecast versus sales, pricing, profitability, product performance, and other aspects of sales analysis and key performance indicators as determined necessary.
  • This position will be instrumental in maintaining the forecast using the existing Forecast Tool, helping to improve its functionality, and assisting in the full implementation and ongoing enhancement of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • This position will also provide Industrial Sales administrative support for the field Industrial Sales Team including Sales Managers and Brokers, as well as coordinate cross functional activities internally to optimize Industrial sales efforts.
  • This position will provide direct Administrative Support to the Director of Industrial Sales and will assist in many aspects of preparing and presenting analysis to the Executive Leadership.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Collects, analyzes and reports on sales results, pricing, product profitability, and other related financial information as needed.
2. Maintains and monitors the internal Sales Forecast for accuracy versus sales/budget at the account level to optimize and address opportunities and ensure proper production and procurement planning is achieved. Measures and tracks effectiveness of programs as well as helps to implement improvements to internal systems when applicable.
3. Provides timely and accurate information based on Sales Forecast analysis (volumes and pricing) when needed to assist in the planning, purchasing and budgeting processes.
4. Assists in managing the use of Microsoft Dynamics CRM with personnel and brokers as well as continuously improving and enhancing the system’s performance.
5. Responsible for management of Industrial contracts, to include but not limited to monthly contract balance communication, contract renewals, and internally maintaining contract pricing and all related information on an ongoing basis.
6. Responsible for all daily activities, requests and interactions with Industrial Sales. Works with Field Sales staff and brokers to identify and optimize sales opportunities. Communicates activities and results to Director of Industrial Sales.
7. Responsible for managing all issues related to cross functional department interaction with Industrial Sales, including optimization of those company processes impacting the Sales & Marketing Department.
8. Assists in New Customer Prospecting, Target Market Data Gathering and Analysis, new Industrial Product Launches, Regularly Performed Price List Margin Analysis, New Product Pricing, Trade Shows, and all other Sales Activities as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
BS Degree a Plus with Business and Accounting concentrations plus 5 years related experience and/or training, OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Forecasting and using a CRM system preferred.

• Process customer cash receipts and maintain AR aging
• New customer and broker account setup/updates
• Process customer credit applications; assign and review customer credit limits per company guidelines
• Maintain and update customer pricing matrix
• Maintain and update broker commission records
• Keep up to date on industry developments
• Generate and distribute monthly status reports, and assist with monthly closing.
• Reconcile and analyze accounts by applying appropriate accounting standards.
• Research and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
• Perform additional duties as required to support the Accounting Department.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Job Summary

Our well established food processing client is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Agricultural Accountant for this IMMEDIATE DIRECT HIRE CAREER OPPORTUNITY.

This position will be responsible for monthly financial statement preparation of assigned company(s), month-end reports, reconciliation of general ledger to statements and reports for all Farming Entities. This position will offer assistance in the Company’s overall financial reporting as assigned by supervision / management.

BILINGUAL SPANISH PREFERRED!


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Month-end journal entries and supporting analysis with schedules
Month-end financial statement preparation
Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Annual accounting accruals and reconciliation’s for purposes of tax return preparation
Produce reports to management on activities
Assist with preparing, issuing, and receiving of purchase orders
Special projects and analysis as required
Placing orders and scheduling deliveries
Receiving and coding of any items ordered via PO’s
Maintain and service vendor accounts
Prepare and coordinate all labor contracts – collecting of all licenses, certs., etc
Admin support for ranch managers as needed
Assist in quarterly repair/maintenance expense and other financial reports
Help maintain and verify all assets in Fixed Asset Software
Help prepare monthly financial reports (Income Statement and Balance Sheet)
Reconciliation of GL’s to include chemical inventory
Maintain and update Grower spraying Permits by county and maintain Chemical Inventories by Chemical shops

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Accounting preferred
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in accounting field
Proficiency is Microsoft Office Software
General Accounting Software, - Tier I or II ERP experience a plus
Knowledge of Auditing principles including work paper preparation and adequate internal controls
Industry practices and procedures related to manufacturing (standard costing)
Bi-lingual Spanish preferred
